Music production principles such as song structure, chord progressions, melody writing, and arrangement ideas for different genres.Audio signal processing techniques such as EQ, compression, reverb, delay, distortion, and more to enhance the sound of individual tracks and mixes.
How to record a live band or solo artist using microphones and/or direct injection (DI) boxes. This includes mic selection, placement, and gain staging for optimal recording quality
Effects Processors: Tools used to alter the sound of an instrument or recording by adding reverb, delay, distortion, or other effects.
Digital Audio Workstations (DAWs): Software programs that allow users to record, edit, and mix audio files.
Virtual Instruments: Electronic instruments that mimic traditional acoustic counterparts or create entirely new sounds. Examples include virtual pianos, drum machines, and synthesizers.
Mixing Techniques: panning, level matching, frequency balancing, and creating depth and width in the mix.
